Echo, echo and echo. John McCain is trailing and smelling the donkeys' ass. Being REactive is fine if you're in the lead, but when you're pulling up the rear you need to get it in gear.
I'm waiting for a candidate that shows some gonads and leadership ability. I need someone to start running on the "I AM THE GOD" slate. I need strength and confidence and yes, a lot of arrogance in the person I'm going to vote for this year. I'm tired of heirs and wimps running our country. Remember when the politicians had charisma, charm and ruthlessness? Me either.
We are the voting public of the most powerful country in the world. McCain McSucks, Obama Bites, and whomever they pick for their running mates will surely have a multitude of vices. With the exception of Hillary, no one has any balls. And Hillary's are cloned from her husbands.

John McCain has taken steps to accept the public funds available to him for his bid in the presidential campaign. These funds come from the $3 that taxpayers contribute when they do their taxes. The maximum amount a candidate could receive is currently estimated to be about $85 million.
Considering the disasters this country is enduring at the moment, aren't there more worthy causes? Flood victims, fire victims, tornado victims, oil subsidies and education could all use the money more than the candidates. The presidential candidates should finance their campaigns with their own funds! If they can't get enough contributers, then maybe they shouldn't be running for office.
Next year when you do your taxes, don't check that box! Send the three bucks to an organization like the American Red Cross that will use it to help people, not people that will spend the money on annoying advertising used to get themselves elected.

Let's spend more money on this that and the other thing. Then let's spend some more money. Then let's give some money to some people that don't really need it
Then let's spend some more money.

"I totally agree. Although $3 doesn't seem like much, we can see by the numbers that it adds up! Next year, I'm not checking that box!"
" The whole point of the campaign contribution is to allow those that don't have the resources to also be viable candidates. It also helps prevent candidates from accepting unscrupulous money. I think we should keep it and I think they should only be able to use these funds to fund their campaigns! All candidates would have equal resources that way."
